Visa application process for Women's World Champs confirmed

Journalists should send the completed form to their respective national federations
Lausanne, Switzerland, June 23, 2010 – The FIVB and the Japan Volleyball Association have the great pleasure to confirm the visa application process for journalists wishing to attend the FIVB Women’s World Championship in Japan, which is set to run from October 29 - November 14.

Journalists who need a visa to enter Japan need to submit an application form to their respective national federations by August 27 before the national federation confirms to the FIVB and JVA their national journalists eligible to attend the tournament.

The FIVB World Championships are the FIVB’s oldest and most prestigious competition, with the men’s edition beginning in 1949 and the women’s in 1952. Russia will be looking to defend their crown when they travel to Japan later this year.
