After the game Serbia&Montenegro-Greece, the head coach of Serbia&Montenegro, Veselin Vukovic pointed out that "we are very happy for our victory but we didn't play a good game because we didn't have much time to rest or prepare the game".

The captain of Serbia&Montenegro, Nikola Grbic said: "it was a difficult game, because we were not concentrated enough since we were already qualified and Greece was already eliminated".

The head coach of Greece, Prosalikas Stylianos was happy despite the defeat. "I am glad for my team because we have played a very good game, and had time to leave minutes for the youngest players".

The captain of Greece, Marios Gkiourdas said: "I'd like to congratulate yugoslavian team and the only thing I can say is good luck for semifinals".
