Supported by an entusiatic audiance Portugal shwoed some excellent Volleyball, and won against the powerfull Argentina. Portugal started the first set very nervous. Argentina took advantage on that with very quick attack moves, by Milinkovic and Elgueta. How ever,Juan Diaz made some changes. Portugal recovered some points and ended this set playing very well. The second set was totaly diferent. Portugal, with Roberto Reis and Hugo Gaspar, attacking very well took the lead in this set. The Portuguese team was more confident and won this set by 25/23. The third one was a bit like the second, very balanced, with Portugal playing very well, with the Roberto Reis excellent in the attacking and in the service. The Argentinian Team seemed a bit surprised with the power demonstrated by the Portuguese attackers. The forth was also very balanced but then it was Argentina who took the advantage on the set. But Portugal again, recovered in the service of Ubirajara Pereira, and playing with no chaces to Argentina, won this match.
