At the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Championships Rome 2011 powered by smart the world's best 96 women's and men's teams will battle for the title of World Champion, prize money totalling US$ 1,000,000 and for valuable points to qualify for participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. From 13th – 19th June 2011 the beach volleyball matches will take place at Foro Italico in Rome, one of the largest and most prestigious event sites. More than 100,000 spectators and visitors are expected at the matches and the extensive supporting programme. The matches will also be broadcast on TV in more than 150 countries.
Of course, smart will also be on site during the World Championships. Spectators will have an opportunity to take test drives and enjoy an attractive side event programme together with lots of product-specific interaction at Foro Italico. In addition, smart branding on LED boards and other competition material will indicate the intensive support for the event.
