- The top 32 men players / 24 women players  in the FIVB World Ranking (as per the standings 30 days before the start of the competition) are not allowed to take part in Satellite events.
- Players who enter both a Challenger and an Open events played on the same dates will not be sanctioned for not participating in the Challenger in case they qualify for the  Main Draw of the Open event.
