Porto, Portugal, July 28, 2010—Emerging from the pressure of the competition, the blazing sunshine and significantly humid conditions, four women’s Beach Volleyball teams, representing four countries, battled through three qualifying rounds Wednesday to advance to the 24-team women’s Main Draw at the 2010 SWATCH FIVB Youth World Championships, the ninth annual event for players under 19, which is being held adjacent to the Edificio Transparente at the Esplanda do Rio de Janeiro. The world championship event runs through Sunday where it is being held for the first time in event history. More

Porto, Portugal, July 28, 2010—Four men’s Beach Volleyball teams, representing four countries, battled through three rounds of qualifying matches Wednesday to advance to the 24-team men’s Main Draw at the 2010 SWATCH FIVB Youth World Championships, the ninth annual event for players under 19, which is being held adjacent to the Edificio Transparente at the Esplanda do Rio de Janeiro.
